Repairs
Unlike installations, repairs are always performed under a time and materials agreement. The reason you can obtain an absolute price on an installation is that the contractor chosen can easily quantify the number of parts and pieces needed to install a complete system. To add to this precision is the machinery such as trenchers and pipe pullers that will vastly reduce the amount of labor required to complete the job.

Repairs are often not as straight forward as a person may assume. Half of the time people will point out the reason they called me and want me to fix that particular issue when what they see may only be a symtom of a much larger problem that could be in a completely different area of the system. Sometimes that problem is in their yard and sometimes it is actually a problem related to their neighbor's system. While the final repair may be trivial, finding the core issue and resolving it completely is what makes a good repair.
